Men Against Sexual Exploitation

The Net MASE-100 Emily Jolliff.jpg

Demand for commercial sex drives the business of sex trafficking. We believe without sex buyers, there would be no sexual exploitation.

Led by men to reach men, MASE disrupts sex trafficking at the source and reduces demand through buyer engagement and community education.

Our vision is to change the culture around the objectification of women and children and see Fort Worth become a city where men don’t exploit vulnerable people.

Our Impact

  • Since 2017, we have had over 30,000 touch points with over 15,000 individual men attempting to purchase sex.

    • In 2022 alone, our team of 14 volunteers had over 6,000 touch points with over 3,000 individual men.

  • In 2022, we had over 200 men from the community attend a MASE Breakfast to learn more about the issue.

There are two volunteer opportunities with MASE:

  • The Disruption Team seeks to holistically address the demand for commercial sex both locally and across the nation by disrupting it on several levels.

  • MASE Advocates use their time and skills to directly serve women in The Net’s program through moving help, lawn care, general handy work, car maintenance, etc.

The first step to getting involved with Disruption Team or as a MASE Advocate is to attend a Volunteer Orientation. Click below to learn more and get started on your MASE volunteer journey.

Through weekly jail outreach, court support, and a survivor support group, we’re helping these women rediscover their inherent value and understand that they can have freedom, safety, and hope.

One phrase we often hear from women who have escaped the sex industry and overcome addiction is that Purchased has helped them find peace for the first time in a long time. You can’t put a price on peace and these women are being reminded that no one can put a price on them.

Purchased is led by The Net’s Jordan McKenna, and there are many opportunities to get involved. Whether you’re looking to volunteer as soon as possible or you want to go through Purchased training to take a more hands-on role, we have a place for you. You can also donate to The Net to financially invest in a Fort Worth free from poverty.

The Worthy co.

The Worthy Co is a social enterprise of The Net that offers women who have survived trafficking, prostitution, and addiction safe and supportive employment.
We provide vocational skills and a real work history for women in the Purchased program as they create products available for purchase by you!

100% of every purchase paves the way for more women to come off the street and into recovery.

Interested in purchasing some of the seriously awesome products these ladies are creating?

MASE

Men Against Sexual Exploitation, or M.A.S.E., seeks to eliminate the demand for commercial sex in Fort Worth. Led by men to reach men, M.A.S.E. is working to educate & equip men to change the culture around the objectification & purchasing of women. From there, we want to mobilize them to engage & disrupt sex buyers.

There are two opportunities within M.A.S.E., the Disruption Team and M.A.S.E Advocate roles. The Disruption Team seeks to holistically address the demand for commercial sex in Fort Worth by disrupting it on several levels.

M.A.S.E. Advocates commit to learning more about the issue of trafficking in Fort Worth through quarterly breakfast events, and then use their knowledge and influence to change culture in Fort Worth. They will also have the opportunity to use their time and skills to directly serve women in the RISE Program through moving help, lawn care, general handy work, car maintenance, etc.

Interested in joining M.A.S.E.? We’d love to have you! The process involves attending training, filling out the M.A.S.E. application, and completing the unique requirements of your specific M.A.S.E. team.

MASE Breakfast

Along with our above volunteer opportunities, we host educational events that do not require an ongoing commitment.

Our quarterly MASE breakfasts provide education, build community, and start conversations around the relevant social and cultural issues that drive the demand for commercial sexual exploitation. Register for the next breakfast below!

*These events are men only.
