At The Net, it is our desire to walk alongside ladies and champion them in their successes. One way we do this is by supporting them in fulfilling some of their needs, as well as wants, once they have the opportunity to be in their own apartment or home. We invite you to share in this sweet time by looking over their wish lists and considering fulfilling one or all of the items on their list.
Criteria for Participants
To qualify to make an Amazon Wish List with a Net Staff Advocate participants must have:
Moved into their own apartment/house in the past 6 months.
Involved in The Net for a minimum of 3 months.
Enrolled in the Empowerment Path (meeting with a Staff Advocate) for a minimum of 1 month.
PURCHASING INSTRUCTIONS
Access Amazon link for participant’s wish list through the links below.
The wish lists are categorized by priority of when they were created.
The number in front of the initials indicate the order in which they need to be fulfilled. Ex: “1: NL New Home Wish list” “2: AS New Home Wish List” “3: NW New Home Wish List”
Choose the wish list categorized number “1: XX New Home Wish List” first. If this wish list has been fulfilled, you can move on to “2: XX New Home Wish List”
Purchase any amount of their registered items that you would like, up to $500
Please provide your name so we can best thank you!
Note: We ask that all gifts/donations be approved by the appropriate Net staff member in order to protect the relationships between participants, advocates, donors, or volunteers. This could apply to donating new/gently used items or purchasing items that are not on their wishlist. NF WISH LIST - FULFILLED!
N* is a breath of fresh air for The Net. She has worked hard to maintain employment, take care of her children, and become a leader in her program. She is so excited to be in her own place and create a sweet and safe space for her family.
2. LP WISH LIST - FULFILLED!
L* is determined and resilient. She is loving her new place of employment and is excited to save up for a car in the near future! She is a great mother, friend, coworker and leader. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to get a few new items to make her place feel like home. She is looking forward to creating a cozy environment for her and her sweet son.
3. NP WISH LIST - FULFILLED!
N* is incredibly hard working, resilient, and motivated to accomplish her goals. She continues to further her education, attends multiple classes a week to help further her professional and leadership skills. N* is excited about having her own home as it is a dream come true! She cannot wait to make her space a place of serenity to be able to continue pursuing her dreams and to have a place of rest for her and her fur babies at the end of each day.
