At The Net, it is our desire to walk alongside ladies and champion them in their successes. One way we do this is by supporting them in fulfilling some of their needs, as well as wants, once they have the opportunity to be in their own apartment or home. We invite you to share in this sweet time by looking over their wish lists and considering fulfilling one or all of the items on their list.
Criteria for Participants
To qualify to make an Amazon Wish List with a Net Staff Advocate participants must have:
Moved into their own apartment/house in the past 6 months.
Involved in The Net for a minimum of 3 months.
Enrolled in the Empowerment Path (meeting with a Staff Advocate) for a minimum of 1 month.

Note: We ask that all gifts/donations be approved by the appropriate Net staff member in order to protect the relationships between participants, advocates, donors, or volunteers. T* has been a part of The Net for almost two years and has patiently waited for the chance to move into her very own apartment! As a Halloween lover, she’s thrilled to finally get to decorate her own space for the holidays and make it extra cozy for her new cat, Seattle. Along with decorating a home she loves, T* has been investing in herself by attending Enrichment classes such as Ending the Game and Worthy of Recovery. On top of that, she’s up for a promotion to shift lead at work! We couldn’t be more excited to walk alongside her in this next season as she continues rebuilding her life.

M* first came to The Net in March of this year after hearing about us through her daughter, who is also an active participant. From the very beginning, she jumped wholeheartedly into her recovery journey by attending classes like Survivor Support Group, Worthy of Recovery, Money Sense, and Career Planning. Over the past few months, M* has shown incredible dedication and resilience. Just recently, she achieved her dream job as a caretaker at MHMR, where she pours kindness and compassion into her work, making each client feel seen, known, and loved. She also reached another huge milestone by saving enough money to move into her own apartment where she finally feels safe and secure. What excites her most is filling her kitchen with all the essentials so she can host her daughter for weekly dinners, creating a space full of love and new memories!

L* is absolute sunshine in a human! She is always giving her time, resources, and energy to others and is always finding new ways to help. This year she has worked hard and got a new job and now her own apartment! She is so excited to have a place of her own that she can decorate and that she gets to call home!
