If you’re great at building relationships, want to get in the trenches with us, and commit to at least one year of consistent community, you should be an advocate!
As a Support Group Advocate, you will create a safe place and build relationships with women affected by the sex industry.
We desire to meet survivors exactly where they are in their journey, offering unconditional love, friendship, and support.
One of the ways we do this is by hosting a weekly Survivor Support Group (SSG) for women who have ever been affected by the sex industry. SSG is a safe place to share struggles, be known, celebrate victories and heal. This weekly group starts with a shared meal followed by honest conversation and accountability led by survivor leaders.
As a Support Group Advocate, you will:
Attend our Survivor Support Group with women who have been affected by the sex industry
Commit to coming twice a month
Support Group is every Wednesday night from 5:30 - 7:30 pm at One Safe Place
*This volunteer opportunity is women only. You must be involved in a local church, including a small group.
