Many people are surprised to learn that Texas ranks 2nd in the country for the number of reported cases of human trafficking. The truth is that trafficking is a widespread issue that affects hundreds of thousands of people, including women and children right here in our community.

Since 2012, generous supporters have made it possible for The Net to serve over 1,100 survivors of trafficking, walking alongside them as they rebuild their lives! The women in our program face many barriers. For example:

88% of women in our program have experienced homelessness
77% witnessed substance abuse in the home growing up
33% enter our program without a GED or high school diploma.

Your funds will provide vulnerable women in our city with the chance to get their GED, open a bank account, gain employment and provide for their children in a tangible way. Every dollar helps trafficking survivors heal and rebuild their lives.
