JOB DESCRIPTION 

Vision of Role

The Digital Marketing and Content Manager is responsible for executing data-driven marketing strategies to grow The Worthy Co.’s brand, generate leads, and drive revenue. This role manages all aspects of marketing and eCommerce, including campaign development, influencer partnerships, social media strategy, email marketing, and online sales optimization. This position requires a strategic, creative, and data-driven marketer with experience in digital marketing, eCommerce, and content creation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and passionate about using storytelling and marketing to drive social impact.

CORE Functions

Marketing and Strategic Communications

  • Drive Growth & Revenue:

    • Execute marketing strategies to grow the brand, generate leads, and drive revenue for The Worthy Co.

  • Campaign Strategy:

    • Strategize creative brand campaigns, promotions, and events, ensuring alignment with data-driven insights and revenue goals.

    • Use performance data to develop marketing campaigns based on trends, seasonal opportunities, and product launches.

    • Examples:

      • Develop ideas for discounts and sales informed by analytics (e.g., top-performing products or slower-moving inventory).

      • Monitor and adjust promotional strategies based on campaign performance.

  • Retail & Event Collaboration:

    • Partner with the Retail Manager to ensure in-store events align with brand standards and effectively contribute to business goals.

    • Manage content creation for in-store events as needed, ensuring brand consistency across all marketing channels.

    • Coordinate event promotions across email, social media, and influencer partnerships (as needed) to maximize attendance and engagement.

  • Influencer Marketing:

    • Build and coordinate partnerships with influencers and online content creators to amplify brand visibility and drive sales.

  • Content Calendar:

    • Plan and execute social media content calendars, including Instagram, Facebook, and email campaigns.

    • Regularly analyze engagement data to optimize content strategy and performance.

    • Use Instagram story strategies to creatively showcase products and engage the audience, maintaining consistent storytelling.

  • Email Marketing:

    • Craft email campaigns, create engaging copy, and design visuals that boost click-through rates and drive revenue.

    • Monitor automated email sequences and adjust based on open rates and conversions.

eCommerce

  • Revenue-Focused eCommerce Management:

    • Maintain, update, and optimize product listings in Shopify, leveraging data to inform decisions.

    • Use weekly analytics (e.g., top/bottom sellers, customer searches) to merchandise products across collections and drive sales.

    • Work closely with the operations team to ensure inventory levels align with sales trends and marketing campaigns.

    • Troubleshoot site-related issues (pricing, imagery, content) to ensure a seamless shopping experience.

  • Campaign Execution:

    • Manage promotions by creating coupon codes, updating banners, testing sales, and reporting analytics to evaluate success.

    • Ensure all product pages are QA'd and reflect brand consistency.

    • Collaborate with the operations team to coordinate product launches and ensure timely fulfillment of promotional campaigns.

  • Customer Behavior Insights:

    • Analyze customer engagement and purchasing patterns to make data-backed recommendations for future campaigns.

    • Partner with the operations team to identify trends in customer demand and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly.

Content Creation

Creative Visuals: Plan and execute photoshoots for product launches, seasonal campaigns, and storytelling initiatives.

  • Storytelling through Visuals:

    • Oversee the capturing and organizing of high-quality photo and video content that aligns with the mission and vision of The Worthy Co.

    • Ideate and create Instagram Reels or TikToks using trending formats to boost visibility and engagement.

  • Collaborate with Contractors:

    • Manage schedules and logistics for photographers, videographers, and other creatives to ensure deadlines are met.

General Responsibilities

  • Represent The Net/The Worthy Co. at events, markets, and speaking engagements, engaging with potential donors and customers.

  • Regularly evaluate performance metrics (e.g., email open rates, social media engagement, sales growth) to inform future strategies and drive decision-making.

  • Develop innovative ways to share The Worthy Co.’s mission with a focus on trauma-informed storytelling.

REQUIREments

  • 3-4 years of relevant experience.

  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Proficiency in analyzing marketing and sales data to refine strategies and improve outcomes.

  • Proficiency with Canva for creating visuals.

  • Experience managing social media accounts and planning content calendars.

  • Intermediate knowledge of photography, videography, and video editing for content creation.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Self-starter who can work independently while remaining a responsive team player.

  • Mature Christian faith

  • Active in a faith community/church
